What is Kindermusik?
Kindermusik is the world’s leading music and movement program for children ages 0-7 years old! We offer weekly, 45 minute, high quality, group instruction by a licensed Kindermusik Educator. Each week, class members enjoy singing, dancing, laughing, instrument playing, and storytelling – all backed by Kindermusik International’s team of childhood experts. Parents/caregivers are encouraged to attend.

Do parents or caregivers attend class?
Most of the classes require that a parent or caregiver accompany the child. The classes are specifically designed to spark interaction between the parent or caregiver and child. You are your child's first and best teacher, and Kindermusik tries to strengthen that bond. In the classes for older ages, the children spend most of the class with just the teacher, but parents may be included in a portion of the class.
(Some classes are designed to correspond with the location's pre-school classes. These classes do not require attendance by a parent or caregiver. This should be noted on the registration form.)

Which class should I choose for my child?
The age recommendations have been carefully constructed to best group children in an age and developmentally appropriate way. We will work with you to find the best fit for your child. If you have concerns about your child's success in a particular age range, we will be happy to discuss your child's needs and work with you to place them in the class to best suit their needs. My child has a birthday mid-session. Which class should I choose?
Our curricula are designed with this in mind and allows for seamless transitions from age-group to age-group. You'll notice that there are overlapping age ranges for each class level. This overlap is intentional so that you have the choice over which class experience and which class level is best for your child. A child may enroll in, or move up to, any class level for which he/she meets the minimum age requirement. When it comes to choosing the best class for your child, we are here to lend experienced and expert advice as well. If you have concerns about your child’s success in a particular age range, we are happy to discuss your child’s needs and work with you to place them in the best suited class. Can I join after classes have started?
YES! You may join at anytime. In fact, we start new themes every 4 weeks (except in "Kindermusik for the Young Child"). And of course, your enrollment fee will be pro-rated if you join after the start of a session.

Are there any discounts that are offered?
Yes! We offer sibling, refer-a-friend, and early registration discounts.

Sibling Discount: |
Sibling discounts apply when you have multiple children enrolled during the same term. Your first child will be enrolled at regular price. Each additional sibling may be enrolled at HALF OFF the regular enrollment fee! Also, the annual registration fee will not be charged for the discounted siblings! (Materials fees will not be discounted; however, you may choose to have your children share one set of home materials when appropriate. Of course, in that case you would only be charged for that one set.) |

Refer-a-Friend Discount: |
We offer a one-time $15 enrollment fee discount for each friend that you bring, if that friend enrolls in our regular fall or spring term. Both you and your friend will each receive the $15 enrollment fee discount! |

Early Registration Discount: |
Sometimes we offer early registration discounts or early registration prize drawings for those enrolled by our early registration deadline. These discounts and prizes may vary from term to term. |
